Christopher Chuky’s instinct for where to place the camera and how to pull emotion from a moment makes his films feel lived-in, intimate, and undeniably human. His work thrives on the specificity of detail: casting that feels real, styling that speaks without words, and sound and movement that sharpen the emotional core of every story.

Born and raised in London with deep ties to Nigerian heritage, Chris is a multidisciplinary director whose career spans commercials, music videos, short films, and creative direction. His work has screened at the BFI London Film Festival, LSFF, and at festivals qualifying for BIFA and BAFTA, earning recognition from Film London, BFI NETWORK, Channel 4, Kodak, and BMW/BFI. He was spotlighted on The Blacklist: GUAP Magazine’s 30 Under 30 and named one of New Waves’ Top 10 Directors.

Chris is best known for SPRAY ME, a vibrant and emotionally charged short currently on its festival run. His commercial work includes campaigns for Jack Daniel’s, Carers UK, and Domino’s for Channel 4, alongside live music performances and content for Amazon Music +44 and Vevo.

Across advertising, film, and music, Chris continues to build a body of work defined by emotional truth, striking visual identity, and a deep commitment to storytelling that places real people at the centre.
